It has grown from the private limited liability company Linas ir viza UAB , which started its activity with the export of Lithuanian rapeseed into the Western Europe in 1991.

Currently holding Linas Agro Group, AB has 20 Subsidiaries, 5 Joint Ventures and 1 Associate that are located in Lithuania, Latvia, Ukraine and Denmark. The companies of the holding are engaged in agricultural commodities trading, agricultural supplies, farming and processing of agricultural products. The company receives over 50% of income from the marketing of grain and oilseeds while 30% of income is generated from the marketing of feedstuff. The group has more than 900 employees, including people working in Associate and Joint ventures.
