AB Linas Agro is among the best exporters from Lithuania
For the 17th time in a row, the Lithuanian Association of Commerce, Industry and Crafts (LPPARA) has held the Lithuanian Export Awards, during which the Lithuanian companies and their executives who have contributed to improving the country’s economic growth and export indicators have been announced.
For the successful past year, the Lithuanian Export Award was awarded to the companies Linas Agro, Lisiplast, Novameta, Vilkyškių Group, and Baltik Vairas. The winners were awarded and the businessmen were honored by the Prime Minister of Lithuania Saulius Skvernelis and the president of LPPARA Sigitas Gailiūnas. Arnaldo Abruzzini, Secretary-General of the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), also attended the event.
AB Linas Agro, one of the largest exporters of Lithuanian grain in Lithuania, increased exports by 62% to EUR 385.5 million in 2017.
The company is an active participant of foreign trade since it has been founded in 1991. Although the main activity of the company includes international trade in grain, oilseeds and feedstuff, it not only successfully exports goods but also imports into Lithuania and supplies certified seeds, fertilizers, plant protection products to the farmers, being one of the leaders of such activity in Lithuania.
AB Linas Agro holds the GTP (European Good Trading Practice) Certificate, GMP + (Good Manufacturing Practice) Certificate, ISCC (International Sustainability and Carbon certification) certificate, also a certificate in trade of organic plant production issued by the PE Ekoagros.
AB Linas Agro is a member of The Lithuanian Grain Processors’ Association and the GAFTA (The Grain and Feed Trade Association).
The company continuously increases the capacity of its own grain storage facilities, and currently together with subsidiaries its own grain and other agricultural commodities storage capacity in Lithuania and Latvia makes 290 thousand tons.
